Ellie Burke is just this simple town girl, who will never look at the wrong way about anyone. Moving to Florida means everything to her — she could turn over a new leaf, start a new life, and get the chance to actually be someone —and not just this useless nerdy girl.

Everything's going well for her until she meets this boy in her English class —  and he's the most interesting, unique person Ellie has ever met.

The boy who lost his sight.

She's going to fight  for what her heart wants every step of the way. This is Ellie's story, and it's going to be one bumpy, complicated romance that's nothing like the fairy tales say. A story of hope, trust and what true love really means.

This is MY first review on this blog, so bear with me people. First I just want to say that I absolutely ♥♥♥ this story. I also must add that if you're looking for a sex story and all that cliché stuff where the girls are easy to hop into bed with, then this is not that kind of story. Though it is still recommended that you read it.

When I first started reading this story, I wasn't really convinced that I was going to truly enjoy it like the other million readers did, I was more like: "Meh, another story about a girl who meets a boy, they fall in love after a couple of issues, THE END."

My face:

Obviously, that is not how I ended the story feeling. I started to read on and found myself actually reacting towards certain things like I was a character in the book. Sometimes my feelings were so intense towards a certain part, that I was literally screaming into the screen. It went like this: "MAYBE IF YOU STOP BEING A JERK, THEN YOU'D HAVE FRIENDS JACKA**! MATTER OF FACT, YOU DO HAVE PEOPLE WANTING TO BE YOUR FRIEND YOUR JUST TOO BLIND TO SEE IT (pun intended)!

"There were points where I wanted to cry, scream into my pillow, throw whatever into the wall, but all of those actions just proved how much I was falling in love with this story update after update.

Ellie is the main character in the story, and as I read this story, I noticed many characteristics about her. One being that she is loyal. The way she never cared what others said about her helping out the disabled kid, made me idolize her for . Despite Riley's constant rudeness, Ellie was very persistent at becoming his friend. Eventually her childish, but mature ways grew on Riley. Some moments in this story I was like:

And then there were moments where I was like:

I've read so many cliché stories before that I couldn't help but assume there was always going to be some sort of cliché part. For example, Reese and Ben. I seriously expected her and Ben to secretly like each other even though they dislike one another, but once again, Bellaaa_ proved me wrong and showed me this wasn't another cliché Wattpad story. Then, when I saw how Aiden was being towards Ellie, I expected a love triangle with extra drama to go on.

When I wanted to cry because of how intensely Ellie showed love for Riley even though he constantly pushed everyone who cared about him away, I just exited out of the app, but then a few seconds later I'd be back at it.

When the story starts to go on, Ellie pushes at trying to get Riley to be her friend, and with the help of Riley's aunt, it finally worked. Eventually, as her and Riley become closer, she realizes how foolish she is being for liking a guy, which starts to show her insecurities.

There's a part in the story where Riley gives Ellie a gift, and I just sat there and cried. I wasn't mad or angry, I was just happy and sort of jealous of what they had. I began to like Riley more and more as he showed his love for Ellie, and how even if he could see her, he would still love her.

I figured the conflict was going to pop up eventually, and that's when Ellie began to try and get Riley to get the surgery to get his sight back. Riley refuses and tells Ellie that he deserves what happened because if he wasn't driving his little sister wouldn't be dead. Riley also refuses to believe his family forgives him for killing his sister in the accident. Ellie, being the little fixer she is, works at trying to get Riley and his parents to work this out, also she tries to get Riley to talk to Aiden, his ex-best friend who he believes doesn't care about him anymore because of his disability.

If you were sitting in the Starbucks, you saw a young teenage girl screaming at her phone.  Every time Riley was being selfish and not considering how others felt, I was like: "I would've kicked his ass, then castrated him!" Yes, yes I did just say castrate.

This book had me experiencing all type's of emotions, it was an addiction, and sometimes I still read it again. It is most definitely recommended that all of you Wattpaders and even non-Wattpaders go and check out 'The Boy Who Lost His Sight' by @Bellaaa_ !
